Hp Printer Reset the ITB [Quick Guide]
Hp Printer Reset the ITB [Quick Guide]
To reset the ITB of your HP printer, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Properly clean the ITB’s sensor flag (beside the cyan drum) using canned air.
Step 2: Pull the sensor flag towards your direction and ensure it swings without restrictions.
Step 3: With the aid of a paperclip or pen, locate and press in the hole in the middle that is on the ITB’s side. While you press in the hole, turn the white Alienation Gear in a clockwise manner.
Step 4: After turning the gear a few times, the reset flag of the ITB will reappear.
It is best to leave the flag in an angled position instead of a right-angled position. That way, the probability of it being tripped accidentally is reduced.
Step 5: Put the new ITB into your printer.
Step 6: Turn on your printer.
The ITB should begin calibrating automatically. If that doesn’t happen, then you need to perform the steps again.
Step 7: Print out a supply status page. With this, you can confirm that the life of the ITB is 100%.
